Booking and Cancellation Policies


•New Bookings: To confirm your booking, full payment and waiver must be received within 24 hours of receiving our booking confirmation (unless otherwise agreed). Failure to complete this step will result in the booking being cancelled.
•Regular Lessons: A statement will be issued (by email) at the beginning of each month showing the date(s) of the booked lesson(s) and the amount owing for that period. Payment should be made a soon as possible.

•Term Riding: A Term riding place cannot be held or guaranteed until we receive payment in full or an agreed instalment plan has been put in place. If we have not received a payment or any notification two weeks before Term commencement date, it will be assumed that the rider is not returning and the place may be offered to a new rider.
•Private/Therapeutic Riding: All private lessons must be paid for at least 24hrs in advance. There are NO exceptions.
•We do offer a payment policy whereby the last card used is deducted at the start of each month. Customers who opt for our authorised payment plan will not incur any penalties provided their card is processed successfully.
•Supported Helper’s Programme/Stable Management: All sessions must be paid for in advance. However, by prior agreement, some customers may be allowed to pay on the day of their session.
•As with the private/therapeutic riding lessons, we do offer a payment policy for SHP/SM.

•Overdue accounts are subject to an administration fee of €15 per month, up to a maximum of €45. Festina Lente reserves the right to suspend lessons for non-payment of fees.

•Cancellations Private/Therapeutic lessons: Please note Festina Lente have a 24hr cancellation policy for all Private and Therapeutic lessons. Any lessons cancelled within 24hrs will be fully charged for. To cancel please contact or Text 087 9232140
•Group Term Lessons: Full payment for group term lessons should be made in advance of the term unless otherwise agreed. We do not offer credit/refund for missed term lessons (unless in the case of certified illness/injury). Where possible we will offer a suitable alternative lesson.
•Pony Camps/Clinics: Full payment must be received in order to secure your booking. A full refund will be given if a cancellation is received one week prior to the first day of the camp. Late cancellations will be charged in full. (unless we can fill the space)
