Beginner Camp

The overall aim of Beginner Pony Camp is to offer a variety of learning activities for 2 or 3 days of fun and hands on experiential learning. Children will learn the basic skills in horse-riding in our indoor and outdoor arena and as they progress they will ride on one of the many sensory trails which are designed to accommodate the beginner rider. Leaders will be available as appropriate.

No experience is necessary. The camps caters for our younger learners and show them how to care for and look after the ponies during stable management classes. Children will learn how to approach ponies, how ponies communicate with each other, how to lead a pony, how to groom, how to clean out ponies stable and much more.

No experience is necessary as it caters for learning about horses from the earliest stages. These camps also gives children the opportunity to become more confident on and off the horse and in the care of the horse (stable management).

In the stable management classes, children will learn how to approach ponies, how ponies communicate with each other, how to lead a pony, how to groom, how to clean out ponies stable and much more.
