Festina Lente Leadership Development through Equine Assisted Learning

The launch of the Festina Lente EAL Leadership Series represents a strategic investment in leadership capability, delivered in partnership with Festina Lente—an organisation internationally recognised for its innovative work in equine-assisted learning, social enterprise, and inclusive development. Drawing on Festina Lente’s unique environment and deep expertise, the series combines evidence-based leadership development with immersive, experiential learning.

Grounded in equine-assisted learning (EAL), the series offers leaders immediate, non-verbal feedback through interaction with equines—highly attuned animals that respond to authenticity, clarity, and consistency. This creates powerful insight into authentic leadership, enabling participants to understand how their presence, intent, and behaviour directly influence trust, engagement, and impact. Leaders develop heightened self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the capacity to lead with credibility under pressure. Through carefully facilitated exercises, participants learn to manage energy, communicate with intention, and project a confident, values-aligned presence.

A key pillar of the programme is the advancement of women leaders, with a dedicated workshop designed to strengthen voice, visibility, and leadership impact in corporate environments. This provides a supportive yet appropriately challenging space to accelerate confidence, influence, and career progression.

Complementing individual development, a team-based workshop leverages Festina Lente’s experiential methodology to explore team dynamics in real time.
