On May 2nd 2025, our service members, along with their families, friends and Festina Lente services staff took part in a physical challenge that put the resilience of our hiking crew to the test in completing a 10km trek, all to raise much needed funds and awareness for two incredible community charities, Tiglin in Greystones and Five Loaves in Bray. Service members hiked over Bray Head and onwards towards Rise at the Cove in Greystones over 10km away. It was a daunting challenge over rough terrain, but it proved no match to the determination of those on the hike, whose efforts were very much inspired by the fantastic support they received in their pre-hike fundraising campaign which raised over €2,000 for the two chosen charities. This fundraising hike truly demonstrates what can be achieved when teams work together through the power of compassion for those in need of support. Well done to all involved, with a special word of recognition to our services staff, Tommy Martin and Eleanor Kenna whose positive energy and leadership brought this fundraising project to life.
