During the year, we have lots of different people who want to help out in the Riding School – either at the weekends or during the school holidays.
This is usually limited to young people who ride in the Riding School, but sometimes it is possible to have other people come in – especially during the holiday times.
Helping out in the Riding School means coming in from 10.00am – 5.00pm on one or more days of the week.

Depending on your experience, you will be mucking out, grooming, leading ponies, cleaning tack and bringing ponies in and out of the field. Working as part of the team is important as this is the only way we know how to work!
Those wishing to become a helper will be required to complete an introductory course.
Helpers should be 12 years of age or older.
If you would like to enquire about this, please contact Clodagh Carey at Clodagh@festinalente.ie or phone
(01)2720704 – Ext 201.
Each year Festina Lente Helpers participate in the Kilmacanogue Horse and District Show with
up to 20 helpers and 20 horses taking part in a variety of classes including style and appearance, pairs and showing classes.
