Saol-AnoisThank you for seeing how you can help the Festina Lente Foundation.

There are many ways you can get involved with the Festina Lente Foundation, from fundraising and donating, to volunteering or attending one of our events.

Whether you’re volunteering your skills or raising money on our behalf we’re always extremely grateful for the thought and effort made by everyone who contributes to the running and success of our foundation.

Festina Lente is an embracing not-for-profit organisation which provides a range of occupational, learning and employment opportunities for people whose needs have not been met in mainstream services.

tomascora groomFestina Lente was founded in 1988 by Mary Rachel Brophy; her aim was (and still is) through social and economic inclusion, to support those most at risk. All activities encourage individual choice, personal development, achievement and progression and we are a registered Irish Charity.

Festina Lente (Latin) means Hasten Slowly and is the Plunket family motto. We adopted this as the name of our organisation in 1995 because it conveys our culture perfectly.

The Festina Lente Foundation has further plans and intends to continue to develop the Festina Lente Campus & Walled Gardens as part of the full services of the Foundation as well as offering more education and training programmes.
