2012
TV3′s ‘The Morning Show’ filmed a feature on Festina Lente and the work we do here. Martin King came out to visit us and interviewed Adam Farrelly and our CEO Jill Carey. This piece was broadcast on Friday 30th March.
On the 21st March a local paper called the Bray People did a piece on what we are about and offer the community.
On the 20th March the Irish Times wrote a wonderful article about Festina Lente and the work we do here called Where the horses are the healers.
There was a wonderful article written about our programme which trains people to become therapeutic riding coaches in the March 2012 edition of Ireland’s Equestrian Lifestyle Magazine.
Uisneach, a regular visitor to Festina Lente, joined his Mam and Dad on TV3′s Morning Show with Sybil and Martin to talk about his rare genetic disorder called 1p36 deletion syndrome. On Wednesday 12th October, Pete “The Vet” Wedderburn interviewed Annaliese Durant a Horse Behaviourist. The interview was carried out for TV3 Ireland AM at the Festina Lente Equestrian Centre. Have a look for yourself to see how the interview went.
A piece was published in The Irish Times which covered Margrit Coates an animal healer from the U.K. visiting Ireland and stopping off in Festina Lente to help out with some of the horse’s.
